More success in East Hampshire!

3rd February, 2017

In December 2014 Pro Vision secured outline planning permission for 51 dwellings at appeal on behalf of Bargate Homes.

In February 2017 resolution to approve the remaining reserved matters (layout, appearance, scale and landscaping) despite opposition from local residents, Parish Council and Local Ward Members was granted almost unanimously at the planning committee (only one vote against).

The planning officer concluded:

“The proposed layout, appearance, scale and landscaping of the development, incorporating a variety of dwelling types, sizes, materials and proportions with a robust landscaping scheme would respect the gently rising land and residential and visual amenity of the local area. The design and materials of the buildings would represent good design and would combine well with the scale of the dwellings to ensure that the semi-rural character of this part of South Medstead is respected.”
