Pro Vision housing appeal success in Swanley, Kent

26th July, 2016
A Planning Inspector has granted outline planning permission for 61 dwellings, means of access and associated open space on land at Beechenlea Lane, Broom Hill on the south east edge of the Town.
The Inspector found that alleged noise and visual disturbance from the proposed means of access would not cause any conflict with Sevenoaks District Council planning policies for the protection of residential amenity and that there was a, “...pressing need for both housing and affordable housing within the area...”, finding overall that the proposed development, “...would accord with the [National Planning Policy] Framework...”.
Pro Vision Director, Robin Buchanan said:
“We are pleased with the objective approach taken by the Inspector to residential amenity concerns and the Inspector’s clear and unambiguous assessment of Sevenoaks Council’s current housing land supply position”.
Pro Vision are currently instructed on a number of housing led schemes in and around central and southern England.
