Pro Vision were asked to provide the ecology surveys for a large extension project to the main house on the Compton Manor Estate.

During the initial bat survey evidence of brown long-eared and serotine bats was recorded in one of the roof voids due to be impacted by the works. Subsequent emergence/re-entry surveys identified a soprano maternity roost near the proposed area of works.

Pro Vision designed a mitigation strategy which helped to secure the project planning permission. Pro Vision then obtained the licence from Natural England and provided advice through the project to ensure cost effective solutions could be found to avoid timely delays in the works and avoid impacts to the maternity roost.
