Woodside

Woodside lies on the edge of Cowesfield Green, Wiltshire and was originally an old school house. It sits in a large plot surrounded by woodland.

The proposals were to substantially renovate and extend the house creating a spacious and contemporary home in a secluded countryside setting.

Existing low quality outbuildings were removed and an oak framed kitchen / breakfast room was added allowing views on three sides to the surrounding countryside. The exterior was re-landscaped creating a sunken terrace enabling the building to sit down in the landscape. The exterior and interior of the house were significantly reworked and upgraded providing a spacious, sensitive and visually striking dwelling.
