This project was a large new-build country house in the South Downs National Park, near Winchester. There had  previously  been a smaller property on the site along with various commercial enterprises. The site had a complex planning history and the Council had previously failed to bring enforcement action against the existing usage.

Our clients bought the site and proposed to demolish the existing buildings and replace them with an 11 bed, traditionally designed Georgian style house connected to a contemporary pool building, garages, apartments and a 3 bed gatekeeper cottage on a 9 acre site. The 20,000 sq ft complex included: a home cinema, games room, gym, indoor swimming pool and wine cellar.
