St Marys

Park Reach is a development of 14 flats in Newbury, Berkshire designed for a private developer.

The building is located on the site of a former doctors’ surgery at the edge of Newbury town centre.

The building comprises a series interconnecting brick, timber and rendered blocks that define areas of accommodation. The scheme, a mixture of one and two-bedroom flats, reflects and responds to the surrounding development by transitioning in scale down from the north through the use of the striking standing seam roof.

The design had to respond to being within a flood zone and on the edge of a conservation area whilst providing a quality design solution in tune with the developer’s aspirations.

The building was completed in August 2019. Pro Vision took the scheme from inception through to a successful planning consent and technical detail stages to completion on site.
