This scheme was for a block of new apartments to replace a rundown period house in the centre of Newbury. The location is sustainable, close to the town centre, local facilities and the railway station.

The proposals looked to maximise the density and development potential for the location in line with current planning policy guidance and the client's development brief.

The design reflects the context and is conceived to be an appropriate replacement for the Edwardian house that has been demolished.
